The monograph “Numerical modeling of processes of underground hydrosphere pollution on the example of a module containing hazardous waste” by N.N. Melnikov, P.V. Amosov, and N.V. Novozhilova has been published. Edition data: Germany: LAP LAMBERT, 2014. – 120 p.

The investigative results are presented on minimizing underground hydrosphere pollution made by a module with radiation hazardous materials on the basis of numerical modeling methods with a wide set of models’ parameters. Digital models were created by using PORFLOW (finite difference method) and AQUA3D (finite element method) computer codes. Recommendations are given to decrease negative impact of radioactivity released, including realization of engineering protection measures (grout curtain and pumping well).  The investigative results are presented on minimizing underground hydrosphere pollution made by a module with radiation hazardous materials on the basis of numerical modeling methods with a wide set of models’ parameters.
